We spent our Christmas holidays at a lovely boutique hotel near the marina. The hotel was exquisitely renovated and had a fragrant citrus grove that was a treat for our senses. The location was perfect, as it was close to all the attractions without the noise and bustle. We also enjoyed the delicious home-cooked meal, and the warm and friendly hosts made us feel at home. Another advantage was the comfortable and well-equipped room that had all the amenities we needed.

There were some negative aspects of our stay. Although it was not in the center of town, we had to endure barking dogs that were quite a nuisance.
